WINNERS OF THE 12TH CALL FOR ART
This represents the work of winning artists from the 12th CFA. All art submissions become part of the Roving Art Show that is installed in schools, community based organizations and public buildings throughout Alameda County.
This incredible expressive art represents the voices of Alameda County artists from 5 - 70 years of age whose images bring an awareness to mental health issues and substance use disorders. These works promote messages of wellness and change to create healthier communities and neighborhoods. Additionally, selected artworks are turned into campaigns that are displayed throughout the county on BART, bus interiors, bus shelters, and bus trails.

Every day we are surrounded by negative imagery, negative messages and negative advertisements. They remind us that we either aren’t good enough, that we don’t have enough or that we made a mistake. They rob us of our energy and they give us nothing in return but a feeling of emptiness, unworthiness and depression - Live Pure Joy is a response to all of that.
