Our all-volunteer multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, professionally diverse Community Advisory Board (CAB) is the primary decision making body of the Health Through Art project. Meeting on the third Thursday of every month, the CAB provides insight, creative ideas, and guidance to project staff on all matters. The CAB is an 
excellent opportunity 
for anyone interested in on-going participation in the project, as well as for those interested in seeing the consensus-based process in action at the grassroots level. CAB meetings are lively and fun, and held over a shared meal typically at the project’s office. Many CAB members & the entire project staff admit to these meetings being the highlight of a week. Health Through Art is always in need of dedicated volunteers who are able to offer their time to help the project activities flow. Any amount of hours, over any period of time are welcome, as there is always plenty to do.


For those interested in more long-term volunteer opportunities, there are specific activities, such as the Roving Art Show, that are in need of on-going coordination.

We have just completed our 8th Call for Art contest, but you are welcome to submit art to be included in our  Roving Art Show at any time!

Keeping alive the spirit and activities of Health Through Art is possible through a great demonstration of  generosity by the community at large. HTA is supported by donations from $50 to $50,000 - and each one makes a measurable impact.


We are also greatly impacted by in-kind donations , and donations of skills or services such as grant-writing, funds development, office organizing, and of course, all technical, computer-related services are much needed and appreciated!
